Ectopic Testis, Pubo-Penile: A Rare Entity

Background: Pubo-penile ectopic testis is a rare congenital anomaly in which the situated along penile shaft or its root. We are reporting case of testicular ectopia whose etiopathogenesis poorly understood. describe one Eleven-years-old child. The diagnosis was made on physical examination alone. condition present since birth but child presented late and successfully treated.
 Clinical Description: 9 yrs old male with swelling base penis birth. On examination, left hemi-scrotum empty developed scrotal sac. External genitalia normal appropriately developed. There single, firm, well defined, non-tender, mobile, oval shaped size 3.5 X 2.5cms, palpable at penis. Right sided normally placed scrotum. Testicular sensations were intact.
 Management: Ultrasound abdomen inguino-scrotal region done & it confirmed location testis. Incision given over to mobilise spermatic cord taken through superficial ring scrotum by small inguinal incision. Orchidopexy anchored extra dartos pouch. Postoperative period uneventful doing good follow-up.
 Conclusion: rare. Examination an should include all potential sites. based examination. Treatment surgical long-term prognosis excellent.
